Development of China train
Trains in China develop in several phases including steam locomotive, diesel locomotive, electric locomotive, multiple unit train and maglev train. The following pictures will show the process of development of China trains.
Since the founding of the People's Republic of China, it has been the high time for China railways and trains to grow and develop.
Steam Locomotive Period
In July 1952, the first steam locomotive was known as Jiefang (JF). The speed is at 20km/h and whole length is 22634mm.
In September 1956, the first steam locomotive was design by Chinese, known as Qianjin.
During the Cultural Revolution, it was QJ with speed of 80km/h and 29180mm.
In 1957, it was built in Dalian and GL for short.
In 1958, it was produced by Jinan and YJ for short.
In1960, Tangshan produced another locomotive and SYY for short. Its speed was at 80km/h and whole length is 21643 mm.
